Ok so I was sitting in Chinese class, and we were learning how to say animal names.

I wasn't really paying attention until a certain word caught my attention.

Ichigo. :)

I quickly turned my attention to the teacher to find out what it meant.

It turns out, in Chinese, Ichigo means one dog. :XD:

I started laughing and some people looked at me kind of weird. xD

Technically, Ichigo was just the sound. It actually was 3 words. Yi zhi gou. xD

Yi means one, zhi is a measure word, and gou means dog.

Needless to say, I will now call Ichigo by some sort of dog name. :D

That was the highlight of my class. :)

How is YOUR day going?

it also means fifteen :3 ichi means one, and go means five :XD: which translates to 15 in japanese :3 so in japanese, he's 15 and strawberry, and in chinese, he's one dog xD
